The Mitre Inn serves traditional country fayre. We have a small menu sourcing as much as we can from local suppliers.
We have fresh fish delivered 3 times a week and during the summer we grow some of our own vegetables. One of our most popular meals is home cooked Ham Eggs & Chips. Our Sunday roasts have a good following and there are always 3 choices of meat along with a vegetarian and fish option.
Food is served Lunchtimes, Wednesday - Sunday 12.00-1.45pm and Evenings, Tuesday - Saturday 7.00-8.45pm. Booking is essential. We will open for drinks only on Sunday & Monday Evening 7.00-9.30pm.
In the Autumn/Winter there are 2 wood burning stoves making the bar and dining room a cosy place to relax.
In the Summer our garden provides an elevated position in which you can unwind taking in the peace and tranquility with views across the valley.
